Bill Crean joins Avison Young in Boston

Boston, MA – Michael Smith, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the firm’s New England region, announced today that highly regarded commercial real estate industry veteran Bill Crean has joined the firm in Boston.

Crean joins Avison Young as a Principal and will focus on office tenant and landlord representation in Greater Boston. He brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young, most recently as a Senior Vice-President and partner with CBRE New England.

Crean has closed on transactions totaling more than $1 billion since 2007 and has represented properties comprising more than 5.7 million square feet in Boston. He has advised Fortune 500 companies as well as InsightSquared, Alzheimer’s Association, M33 Growth and General Assembly.

Crean is a past president and current board member of Fairfield University Alumni Association and Vice-President of the Hingham Sports Partnership. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Fairfield University.
