(Wiesbaden, March 2024) A pleasant surprise for the agency STERN from Wiesbaden! As part of the regular visits to particularly exciting and innovative companies, Wiesbaden's Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende recently visited the communication professionals of the full-service agency. And this literally in a dual mission: On the one hand, the head of the Hessian state capital wanted to get his own impression of the work of the 35-strong agency, and on the other hand, he also wanted to present the bronze city plaque to founder and managing director Ferdinand Stern. This honorary medal is awarded to companies that have been successfully active in the market for 50 years or more and have made particularly meritorious contributions to the city as employers.

Gert-Uwe Mende during his visit: "The field of communication is a fascinating one and, especially in times of media society, TikTok, and artificial intelligence, more important than ever. That is why I am pleased that we have innovative providers like the agency STERN here in Wiesbaden, who contribute to companies and organizations fully harnessing the potential of modern communication."

Brief visits to all departments
Perhaps for this reason, the mayor took enough time to visit colleagues from all units of the agency – Public Relations, Social Media, Marketing, Design, and Events. In doing so, he also gained some impressions of current projects – from planning exciting influencer events for clients in the consumer electronics and food & beverages sectors to developing digital marketing materials for clients in the real estate and life science industries. A highlight of the visit was finally the reception of the honorary plaque. Ferdinand Stern: "It is nice to see that our mayor takes the time for us entrepreneurs and the people who work in Wiesbaden. We were very pleased with the friendly visit."
