Visitors recently got to know the prototype of the LÉGÈRE HOTELGROUP's digital employee at EuroCis in Düsseldorf: The avatar, which is supported by advanced artificial intelligence (AI), greets guests directly in the lobby and guides them through the entire check-in process. From identification and reservation verification to room assignment, the avatar offers an efficient and user-friendly solution for all travelers. The digital assistant is flexible, universally applicable and can be seamlessly integrated into all common communication channels. It works continuously, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With the ability to understand more than 50 languages and dialects, the avatar can take guests' individual preferences into account to create a tailor-made experience. Furthermore, the technology provides additional security measures by enabling contactless interaction.
LÉGÈRE HOTELGROUP is implementing this exciting project together with the Berlin-based start-up heronOS, which specializes in the provision of AI-based digital specialists, and Rowius GmbH, which specializes primarily in the retail sector and technical equipment. The two technology companies have set themselves the task of relieving the burden on specialist and service staff in the workplace through the use of specifically and individually trained and powerful AI assistants, increasing their productivity and offering their customers a first-class service. In the further course of the project, the duo will train and continuously develop an avatar based on more than 300 features and 15 different AI models.
The launch of this project is part of LÉGÈRE HOTELGROUP's ongoing efforts to improve the guest experience and, in particular, to make further progress in the area of digitalization.
